Frequently asked questions

Do you deliver or do we pick up our beach equipment?

We come to you! We delivery your beach gear to your hotel, vacation rental, curbside at the beach, or your desired location.

Currently, there is no pickup option available.

What areas in San Diego do you deliver to?

We deliver to Carlsbad, Oceanside, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, and all of South San Diego County June-September. If you are outside these areas please call us at (760) 519-7005.

How about a deposit?

We currently do not require a deposit on our equipment, but in order to hold your delivery / rental date, full payment is required.

Do you provide a Military discount?

We love our military and law enforcement families, please email info@socalbeach2you.com for further information.

Can I order the day of?

If it’s available, we can make it happen. However, we recommend you reserve everything you need at least two weeks in advance to ensure we have it in stock. For same-day orders, please call us at (760) 519-7005.

What are your delivery hours?

All deliveries begin at 9 am, and our last pick-up is at 9 pm. If you desire to have beach gear picked up after hours it’s $50 per hour after 9 pm.

Delivery times are not guaranteed. Beach Day Valet will stay in communication with you via text to let you know when your delivery driver is on their way.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Full refunds will be provided with a 24-hour notice. If there is no notice or communication with Beach Day Valet, no refund will be granted.

What forms of payment do you accept?

VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Venmo, and Discover.

How long can I rent stuff, and how are your rates structured?

You can rent equipment for as long as you want. We have three rates you can choose from:
Daily (12 hours)
Weekly (after 3 days)
Monthly (great option for snowbirds or long-term travelers)

What are your delivery fees?

We charge a flat fee of $25 for delivery.  We may charge $50 for non-local and same-day deliveries.
These fees are subject to change.
