About Us

We're Caden & Jenna Vanderbyl. We are both San Diego natives and grew up enjoying all that San Diego's beach communities have to offer and want all of our customers to be able to do the same. 

We started Beach Day Valet because we believe the beach should be relaxing - from the moment you pull in. As a local, family-run business, we know the best days are the easy ones. That's why we're here, to handle the heavy lifting so you can make memories.

Frequently asked questions

Do you deliver the beach gear, or do we pick it up?

We bring the beach gear to you. Whether you're at a hotel, a vacation rental, or we meet you curbside at the beach, we handle the delivery or setup.

Can I place a same-day order?

If we have availability, we're happy to accommodate same-day requests. You cannot book a same-day order online - for orders with less than 24-hour notice, please call us at (760) GO-BEACH or text (760) 519-7005 to check our availability. Our same-day delivery fee is $50.

What are your delivery and pickup hours?

Deliveries start at 9:00 AM, and our last pickup is at 9:00 PM. After-hours pickups are available for an additional $50 per hour.

Which areas in San Diego do you serve?

We deliver to all areas of San Diego County, including Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Del Mar, Solana Beach, La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Downtown, and more. Non-local delivery fees may apply based on your exact location. Not sure if we reach your area? Email us at hello@beachdayvalet.com.

What are your delivery fees?

Our delivery fee starts at $25. For deliveries outside our core service area, a $35 fee applies. All same-day requests will have a $50 delivery fee. All delivery fees are subject to change and will be communicated during the booking process.

How long can I rent equipment, and how are rates structured?

Rental durations are flexible to meet your needs. We offer:

Nikki and her team at Beach 2 You were incredible! We rented beach chairs, tables, and coolers with ice for our beach wedding rehearsal dinner. From the booking, to delivery and pick up the Beach 2 You team was so friendly and we were blown away by their customer service. Super glad we used Beach 2 You for our party. We were throwing a kid party at the grass near the beach and wanted some fun activities. Rented ladderball, spikeball, and cornhole. They made it so easy with drop off and pick up, guests loved it, and they were super easy to work with. I will definitely use them again and told everyone at the party how glad I was that I rented the games!

Working with Beach 2 You was a great pleasure. We rented what beach gear we needed for our fall break trip to Oceanside. It saved so much room in our car not to haul chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, a wagon, boogie boards and beach games all the way from Utah. They delivered the gear to our rental property and picked it up 3 days later at the end of our trip. The gear was in great shape. We will definitely be using Beach 2 You again next time we travel to Southern California!

This service is wonderful! We picked the items we wanted and he was great about drop off and pickup. The gear seemed all brand new and solid brands.
